Anissa Rafeh
Anissa Rafeh is a Lebanese-American author and blogger. She was born and raised in the United States, but moved to Beirut to obtain her Master’s degree from the American University of Beirut. She fell in love with Lebanon and decided to stay there to pursue a career in journalism. In 2008, she had her first book published, Miss Guided: How to Step into the Lebanese Glam Lane (Turning Point), soon after which she started writing her blog, ‘Tales from the LebAmerican.’ After spending 18 years in Lebanon, she moved back to the US and currently resides in Richmond, Virginia, where she works as a communications manager. Beirut to the ’Burbs: Adventures of a Suburban Misfit is her second book.
