Maya Majdalani

Maya Majdalani holds a BA (2004) and a Master’s (2006) in Illustration from ALBA and has won several international awards for her work, including first prize at the Beirut International Exhibition for UNESCO’s La Bande Dessinée Internationale (2004), as well as for Geha wa Chillatahou (2013) and at the Arab Thought Foundation for Zeid wa Jad (2013). She currently lives in Beirut, where she freelances and looks after her one-year-old son. www.mayamajdalani.com
